Best of JURE 2010
| |
JURE has a long tradition in giving awards to the best contributions. With the Best of JURE awards we want to support and motivate junior researchers on their career! The winners in each award category will be announced at the closing session. The award procedures for JURE 2010 are organised in the following ways:
Best Paper Award
- In the second feedback round, senior as well as peer reviewers have to answer the question: “Would you nominate this paper for the paper award?” Only if senior and peer reviewer answer “yes” will the paper be considered for the award.
- From these papers, 4 papers, which have to meet the formal criteria, are nominated (best mean scores in senior / peer feedback).
- A jury reads all 4 papers and scores them on the review criteria.
- Jury members attend the presentation of the nominated papers and judge them on presentation criteria. Paper and presentation are considered equally.
- Jury meeting moderated by a committee member who has received all the judgements of the jury members beforehand.
- Jury consists of winner best paper 2009, chairs of previous and upcoming JURE-conferences, and keynote speakers.
Best Poster Award
- Members of the poster jury attend the presentations and judge them on review and presentation criteria.
- Jury consists of session chairs and leaders of professional development courses.
Best Round Table Award
- Members of the round table jury attend the presentations and judge them on review and presentation criteria.
- Jury consists of session chairs and leaders of professional development courses.
